All participants are expected to identify a mentee before the programme begins and work with them throughout.
Three full-day sessions in Galway anchor the programme, supported by shorter weekly online sessions in between.

The EMCC Global Quality Award (EQA) recognises that the programme meets stringent professional global standards for mentoring and coaching training.
Attend all in-person and online workshops.
Attendance plus assigned reading, assignments and skills practice.
Option 2 requirements, plus the required hours of mentoring experience. Hours can be completed up to six months post-programme, or recognised from up to two years before the course.
Option 3 requirements, plus additional mentoring hours. The same recognition of prior experience applies.
A structured RPL form is required to claim recognition of prior experience.
